The change of gene expression in response to salinity stress in grapevine cv. Tempranillo grafted on three different rootstocks, 1103 Pulse, M1, and M4, was investigated. The plants were grown in field conditions and subjected to salinity treatment by irrigation with saline water for 101 days. Leaves and berries were collected by flash freezing in liquid nitrogen. Ground leaves and berry skins were used for RNA extraction. Extracted mRNA was sequenced by Illumina HiSeq 4000.
