Alterations in the gut bacterial microbiome in fungal Keratitis patients

Keratitis is an inflammatory disease of the human eye and affects over a million people annually in tropical countries. Normally it is caused by bacteria , fungi , viruses and parasites. In this study we have tried to establish a connect between the bacterial and fungal microbiota of the gut of individuals with fungal keratitis and the inflammatory disease of the eye.
