Reads from SOLiDTM deep sequencing of sigma virus of Drosophila melanogaster (DMelSV) from multiple Drosophila individuals (sampled in Athens, GA, USA) that were used to evaluate the patterns of sigma genome sequence variation within a single population and within hosts, and to determine how much, if any, of the observed variation can be attributable to the host-encoded adenosine deaminases acting on RNA (ADAR).
