In this study, we provide insights into the composition of prokaryotic communities in four Karlovy Vary thermal water springs. Phylogenetic analysis performed by the targeted sequencing analysis of 16S rRNA genes highlights the unique composition of prokaryotes in each spring, and reveals the presence of as-yet-undetected taxa that form a major part of the microbial communities therein.
