Main obstacles for sports participation of disabled people in Japan 2023

In a survey conducted in December 2023 on the sports participation of disabled individuals in Japan, about 31.9 percent of respondents stated that their main obstacle for sports participation was a lack of physical strength. According to the survey, 17.4 percent of respondents felt that there are no obstacles in their sports life, and that they can participate in sports satisfactorily.
