Dual functions of NEIL3 in DNA repair and the epithelial-mesenchymal transition

Next-generation sequencing (NGS) has revolutionized systems-based analysis of cellular pathways. The goals of this study are to compare NGS-derived liver cancer transcriptome profiling (RNA-seq) to quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT–PCR) methods and to evaluate protocols for optimal high-throughput data analysis. Overall design: mRNA profiles of Huh7 liver cancer cell lines were generated using the Cufflinks package v2.2.1.
