Music and Pope Francis

The data was collected as part of the project titled "Papal Authority Transformed by Changes in Communication," which was conducted at the University of Silesia in Katowice between the years 2019 and 2024. The project received funding from the National Science Centre, Poland (grant no. 2019/35/B/HS2/00016) under the Opus 18 scheme. The data pertains to a cognitively intriguing section of digital cartoons from the traditionalist website Gloria.tv, known for expressing a counter-public viewpoint to Pope Francis. This data collection facilitated the project's expansion to include visual elements. The study employed methods akin to those used in the rest of the project, namely discourse theoretical analysis (DTA) and hermeneutics.
