Overburdened Communities under the New Jersey Environmental Justice Law (Current)

“Overburdened community” means any census block group, as determined in accordance with the most recent United States Census, in which: (1) at least 35 percent of the households qualify as low-income households; (2) at least 40 percent of the residents identify as a minority or as members of a State recognized tribal community; or (3) at least 40 percent of the households have limited English proficiency. . This dataset is the most current version of the Overburdened Communities under the New Jersey Environmental Justice Law.“负担过重社区（Overburdened community）”指依据最新美国人口普查结果确定的任一普查区块组，且满足以下任一条件：(1) 至少35%的家庭属于低收入家庭；(2) 至少40%的居民自认定为少数族裔，或为州认可的部落社区成员；或(3) 至少40%的家庭存在英语能力有限的情况。本数据集为《新泽西州环境正义法》项下负担过重社区的最新版本。
