In average, staining scores for phospho-Rb S249 and phospho-Rb T821 did not significantly differ between cancer tissues relative to non-cancerous controls, even when breaking the scoring down into histological subtypes. The difference of the biggest magnitude was the one observed for p39 staining, which showed a score of 2.4 in cancer tissues, relative to 0 for non-cancer controls.
