Local/international SMS traffic in Tanzania Q3 2021, by operator

Vodacom, Tigo and Airtel are the largest providers of SMS services in Tanzania. During the third quarter of 2021, Vodacom accounted for 40 percent of the international SMS traffic, while Airtel lead the ranking of local SMS, with 34 percent. Overall, close to 35.7 billion text messages were sent in Tanzania in the thirdquarter of 2021.
