This MATLAB code implements an MRI image distortion correction model based on geometric function theory and the Miller–Ross Poisson distribution series. The algorithm first introduces nonlinear distortion to the original MRI image and then applies a correction function derived from coefficient bounds of a Sakaguchi-type function subclass. The model computes parameters using special functions involving gamma functions and Poisson-type series expansions. Image quality improvement is evaluated using MSE, PSNR, SSIM, NIQE, and BRISQUE metrics. The output visually and quantitatively compares original, distorted, and corrected MRI images to validate the effectiveness of the proposed mathematical framework.
