Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a disconnection disorder associated with widespread aberrant functional connectivity. Owing to data heterogeneity, stable and reproducible markers of functional connectivity impairment in AD have long been elusive. Based on a multicenter large-sample dataset, this study uncovered stable and reproducible functional connectivity impairments in AD. This dataset comprises 216 significantly impaired functional connections linked to AD. These findings can further elucidate the abnormal brain activity patterns of AD, and facilitate the investigation of its cognitive impairments and underlying disease mechanisms.
