资源简介:
This FAIRsharing record describes: FAIRtracks is a minimal metadata model that address the challenges posed by the FAIR principles for consolidating metadata for genomic tracks (i.e., genome browser datasets). The FAIRtracks model is implemented as a set of JSON Schemas, around which are built services for validating, augmenting, indexing and querying FAIRified metadata.
FAIRtracks metadata annotations follow minimal requirements structured around a set of core concepts: collection, study, experiment, sample, and track. Such minimal records link to existing resources by the use of globally unique and persistent identifiers for data records in relevant repositories (through identifiers.org and n2t.net) or ontology terms (as indexed in e.g. the Ontology Lookup Service). Examples of relevant data/metadata repositories include the Sequence Read Archive (SRA), the European Genome-phenome Archive (EGA), and databases hosted by EBI and NCBI containing metadata on biological samples.
