Interactive plant growth regulator and fertilizer application dataset on growth and yield attributes tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.)

The dataset describes how plant growth regulator (PGR) application reduces the need of excess chemical fertilizer use in tomato cultivation. PGRs like gibberellic acid, salicylic acid and naphthalene acetic acid at 50 ppm besides control (no PGR) and fertilizer inputs from 80% to 110% of the recommended doses along with control (farmers' practice) were applied in interaction following a factorial randomized complete block design. Data were collected on various growth and yield related characters to assess the combined influence of plant growth regulators and fertilizers.
