ECMWF/ENS - 2024 - Great Britain

The Dataset ECMWF-ENS is licenced under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) and is subject to ECMWF terms of use. It contains the numerical weather operational forecasts related to the ensemble model ENS provided by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF). The data was downloaded from the TIGGE archive using the ECMWF Web API. The dataset contains operational forecasts for the base times of 00 UCT 2024 from T+0 to T+360h in 6h steps. Each file is related to a base time date and is organized in folders according to the base time year. The files are in NetCDF format and are named according to the tigge-GB_<base time date in yyyymmddHH>.nc pattern. The files comprise the latitudes from 50º to 59.5º and the longitudes from -8º to 3.5º. They contain the following single-level variables: total column water, mean sea level pressure, U wind 10m, V wind 10m, 2m temperature and dewpoint, soil moisture, snow fall and snow depth (water equiv), total precipitation, surface net short-wave (solar) radiation, total cloud cover.
