CARIMED (CARbon, tracers, and ancillary data In the MEDiterranean Sea) aggregated original cruise data product

This dataset comprises the CARIMED aggregated data product for the Mediterranean Sea, compiling ship-based observations from cruises conducted between 1976 and 2018. It includes full-depth discrete bottle measurements of salinity, dissolved oxygen, nitrate, silicate, phosphate, total dissolved inorganic carbon (TCARBN), total alkalinity (ALKALI), pH on the total hydrogen ion scale at 25ºC (PH_TOT_25C), chlorofluorocarbons (CFC-11, CFC-12, CFC113, and CCl4), sulfur hexafluoride (SF6), and a range of isotopic tracers. Salinity, dissolved oxygen, nitrate, silicate, phosphate, TCARBN, ALKALI, and PH_TOT_25C were subjected to primary quality control, with data flagged as 2 (good) or 3 (probably bad). Oxygen data from CTD sensors were assigned quality flag 0.
