Soybean/corn crop samples for specific regions of the Cerrado biome in the 2023/2024 crop season
收藏资源简介:
This .zip file contains a curated dataset, in shapefile (.shp) format, of georeferenced soybean/corn (with reference in the second crop, corn) field polygons covering the 2023/2024 crop season in selected regions of the Cerrado biome, Brazil. The data are in the SIRGAS 2000 geographic coordinate reference system (EPSG:4674). Samples were identified and validated using images and time series from Harmonized Sentinel-2 MSI Level-2A surface reflectance data (COPERNICUS/S2_SR_HARMONIZED), accessed through Google Earth Engine, as the primary source. The Temporal Vegetation Analysis System (SATVeg), developed by the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa), was used as a complementary source. The methodology is described in detail in: Chaves, M., Adami, M., Oldoni, L., Rodigheri, G., Prudente, V., Santana, C., … & Sanches, I. D. (2025).
