The dataset was generated as part of a study conducted by Oregon State University (OSU) and funded by the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT). The study, titled "Use of Blue Lights on Paving Equipment in Work Zones," was conducted from June to December 2018. The dataset includes vehicle speed and length data collected over a total of 12 days on three case study projects on high-speed roadways in Oregon.
