Greenresilient, an agroecological approach to greenhouse production

The study wants to demonstrate that an agroecological approach to greenhouse production is feasible and allows, in the different European areas (Mediterranean, Central and Northern Europe), the building up of strong agroecosystems, adapted to different climatic conditions, that are productive and sustainable from an agronomic and environmental point of view. In a number of experimental sites, the cropping system will be redesigned to solve the main technical constraints of organic production in greenhouse in the area, improving its agronomic and environmental sustainability. The new strategies will be developed using a system approach and combining knowledge in different disciplines.
