Replication Data for: Age–patterns, clinical presentation and seasonality of respiratory syncytial virus pre-post emergence of SARS-CoV-2 on the Kenyan Coast, 2015-2024: a hospital-based study

This is a replication dataset for the manuscript titled: \"Age–patterns, clinical presentation and seasonality of respiratory syncytial virus pre-post emergence of SARS-CoV-2 on the Kenyan Coast, 2015-2024: a hospital-based study.\" The main dataset is part of long-term surveillance of of RSV among children under 5 year admitted to KCH. These datasets contain results of samples tested by real-time PCR between 1st Jan 2015 and 31st Dec 2024. Aside from the samples tested and results of the tests, it also contains the patients’ sociodemographic characteristics, cycle threshold, discharge outcome, and disease severity. The dataset is used to explore the age distribution, disease severity and seasonal patterns of RSV pre- and post- COVID-19 arrival in Coastal Kenya.
