CIS: installed electricity generation capacity 2024, by country

Russia had the highest total installed electricity generation capacity among selected members of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), measured at approximately 254.3 gigawatts as of January 1, 2024. It was followed by Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, whose power plants had an installed generation capacity of approximately 24.6 gigawatts and 20.1 gigawatts, respectively.
