Implementing the Community Climate Action Plan helps to achieve our Environment and Climate goal by limiting our community’s contribution to climate change by reducing our collective greenhouse gas emissions. The Community Climate Action Plan is our roadmap to achieving a 70% greenhouse gas reduction community-wide by 2050. It lays out a set of specific actions and strategies that the City and community will take to reduce emissions in four sector areas: energy supply, energy in buildings, transportation, and waste and materials.
