Global database of factors influencing five stages of the decision-making process in diversified farming systems

This database, developed through a systematic review, comprises 354 multivariable regression models from 193 primary peer-reviewed studies conducted between 1982 and 2023. It investigates factors influencing farmers' decision-making processes across five stages: awareness, interest, adoption, intensity of adoption, and dis-adoption. The dataset includes studies from 45 countries across five regions and categorizes factors into 14 groups, including biophysical, socio-economic, and institutional factors. This comprehensive data supports analysis of how these factors affect transitions in diversified farming systems.
