These files, which have been retained as a sample, relate to the granting of subsidies to organisations providing "meals on wheels" services.The files were created by the Federal Department of Social Security. In 1988, this function was taken over by the New South Wales Department of Family and Community Services. The files were re-registered into the Department's filing system.The files consist of: monthly delivered meals subsidy forms (giving: name of organisation; date; number of meals delivered; who delivered to; where served; with/without Vitamin C supplement); quarterly estimates of meals to be delivered; and general correspondence.(18/1663). 1 box.
