Replication data for: Nepal (2009): Identifying Drivers of Use of Intra-Uterine Contraceptive Devices (IUCDs) Among Married Women in Urban and Peri-Urban Nepal

Between June and August of 2009 PSI/Nepal will conduct a FoQus for Qualitative Segmentation study to gather information in the above mentioned areas. A variety of qualitative methods will be used to collect data, including spoken narratives and photo narratives.The spoken narratives method was chosen for its ease of use and the rich data that emerge when study participants are given an opportunity to share their personal stories. Similarly, photo narratives allow study participants to describe their experiences and what is important to them both verbally and visually, presenting another means by which to understand their lives.
