Dataset of flexible process plans for representative parts produced within manufacturing system affected by cyber-attacks

This dataset is designed for research in smart manufacturing, cybersecurity in industrial systems and process optimization. It includes 3D models of representative manufacturing parts, also referred to as jobs, along with their specific geometric and functional features. For each job, the dataset provides alternative process plan networks, which detail different ways to manufacture the same part using various machine tools, cutting tools and Tool Access Directions (TADs). Additionally, the dataset contains a detailed technical specification for all parts as well as manufacturing times for each operation based on the available alternative resources. A key focus of this dataset is its relevance to cybersecurity in manufacturing and it is beneficial for flexible process planning, allowing for optimization of alternative production paths in response to disturbances. Researchers can use it to study the impact of different disturbances - especially those caused by cyber-attacks on process planning, scheduling and production efficiency.
