Environment Agency freshwater fish survey sites - most recent survey year

The Environment Agency's Freshwater fish surveys database has been interrogated to extract the year of the most recent survey for each survey site. The survey site points have then been matched to a CaBA catchment based on their location and symbolised according to the decade in which the most recent survey took place. The layer can be used to identify locations where freshwater fish surveys have not taken place for many years. This layer is based on data downloaded via the from the bulk download page on the Environment Agency’s Fish and Ecology Data Explorer in February 2022.
