This dataset includes remote sensing monitoring and simulation data on the ecosystem service capacity of the Greater Xing'an Mountains Natural Protection Engineering Area from 2000 to 2015, which can provide data support for the natural protection engineering in the Greater Xing'an Mountains region.

The key state-owned forest areas in Northeast and Inner Mongolia are important commodity timber production bases in China, and are natural barriers to maintain stable and high yields in agriculture and animal husbandry in Northeast and North China. By tracking and analyzing the carbon reserves in the Greater Xing'an Mountains, data support can be provided for the natural conservation project in the region.
