The numbers signifies the number of proteins whose ranks are significantly changed. By bold those functional categories are highlighted which found enriched after filtering out proteins not present in either cancer or normal transcriptional networks. In this case, two values for the number of proteins are shown separated by semicolon: one without filtering and one after filtering. Complete interactive version of this table is available at [46]. Arrow up means that the corresponding rank decreases (or, in other words, “improves”, rank value increases) in the cancer network (the proteins are more connected). Arrow down means the opposite: the corresponding rank “degrades” and the proteins become less connected in cancer.
