MMP13-Mediated Fibronectin Degradation Facilitates Coronavirus Attachment to Integrin αvβ3 and Enhances Viral Invasion
收藏资源简介:
This study uncovers a conserved coronavirus strategy in which PEDV infection up-regulates host MMP13 via the IL-1β/JNK pathway. Elevated MMP13 degrades extracellular fibronectin, removing its competitive blockade of PEDV spike–integrin αvβ3 binding and thereby accelerating viral entry. The same MMP13–fibronectin–αvβ3 axis is exploited by SARS-CoV-2 and porcine deltacoronavirus, revealing a potential pan-coronavirus therapeutic target.

Data citation requirement
This dataset is released under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
If you use any file or derived data, you must cite the dataset: "MMP13-Mediated Fibronectin Degradation Facilitates Coronavirus Attachment to Integrin αvβ3 and Enhances Viral Invasion" Figshare.
