本数据是在中国科学院战略性科技先导专项“热带西太平洋海洋系统物质能量交换及其影响”2016年任务计划安排,开展西太平洋马里亚纳海山的系统性调查。拟就海山及临近海域的物理化学环境、生物多样性特点、生态系统基本结构特征开展多学科综合调查与研究。利用船载多波束进行海底地形地貌的观测,船载深水和浅水ADCP对航次调查各站位的底部动力环境进行同步观测。本数据集是利用船载多波束进行海底地形地貌的观测获得。

This dataset is derived from a systematic survey of the Mariana Seamounts in the Western Pacific, which was conducted under the 2016 mission plan of the Strategic Priority Research Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences with the theme of "Material and Energy Exchange in the Tropical Western Pacific Ocean System and Its Impacts". This survey aims to carry out multidisciplinary comprehensive investigations and studies on the physico-chemical environment, biodiversity characteristics, and basic structural features of the marine ecosystem in the seamounts and their adjacent waters. Shipborne multi-beam sonar was used to conduct seabed topography and geomorphology observations, while shipborne deep-water and shallow-water ADCP (Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler) were deployed to perform simultaneous observations of the bottom dynamic environment at each station during the cruise survey. This dataset is obtained from the seabed topography and geomorphology observations using shipborne multi-beam sonar.
