Devon Historic Landscape Characterisation (HLC)

Historic Landscape Characterisation was completed for Devon in order to record and understand the wider historic landscape of the county. The project was undertaken by Devon County Council and English Heritage, and supported by Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Service and Dartmoor National Park Authority. Carried out between July 2001 and December 2004, the project was undertaken to understand and map the landscape that we see today with reference to its historical development, and to be used for landscape management and research.历史景观特征评估（Historic Landscape Characterisation）项目已在英国德文郡完成，旨在记录并全面认知该郡全域的历史景观风貌。本项目由德文郡议会与英国遗产（English Heritage）牵头实施，获得塔玛谷杰出自然美景区服务处与达特穆尔国家公园管理局的支持。项目于2001年7月至2004年12月间开展，目标为结合历史发展脉络，解析并绘制当前可见的景观格局，相关成果将服务于景观管理与学术研究工作。
