Postzygotic barriers persist despite ongoing introgression in hybridizing Mimulus species

We generated whole genome sequence data from a set of inbred lines of Mimulus guttatus derived from the sympatric site Catherine Creek where it naturally hybridizes with sister species M. nasutus. We assess levels of introgression from M. nasutus in the lines of M. guttatus and characterize transmission ratio distortion, long distance linkage disequilibrium, and hybrid incompatibilities in three parallel recombinant inbred line populations between the species.
