资源简介:
Clinical isolates of the human fungal pathogen Candida albicans show significant variation in their ability to undergo in vitro filamentation. In this study, we show that Nrg1, a key repressor of filamentation and filament specific gene expression in standard laboratory strain, has strain dependent functions, especially during infection. Overall design: In this experiment we characterize the expression profile of Candida albicans clinical isolates and their respective nrg1 mutant strains by NanoString. The probe set contains 186 environmentally responsive gene sets. 3 biological replicates (expection is 94015, in which only 2 biological replicates were used) were used to examine the expression of gene of interest.
