The dataset contains raw model output from NorESM1 pacemaker simulations that have been used for studying Pacific-Arctic climate teleconnections.
The data is stored in netcdf format.
The TAUQOCN folder comprises output from six NorESM1 simulations with realistic wind-stress variability imposed in the tropical Pacific.
The TAUQOCN_reverse folder comprises another three simulations with the same wind-stress variability imposed but with opposite sign, thus allowing the study of non-linear effects.
The generation of the data is further described in the publications Svendsen et al. 2018 and Svendsen et al. 2021 as well as in Lea Svendsen's doctoral thesis.
