Chirp Subbottom Profiler Dataset from the 2023 DOORS Cruise Aboard R/V Bilim-2: Insights into Submarine Slope Instability

The dataset comprises high-resolution subbottom profiler data acquired from the southwestern Black Sea, within Türkiye’s Exclusive Economic Zone, during the 2023 DOORS research cruise led by the Middle East Technical University. Data acquisition was carried out using the KNUDSEN 3212 Chirp Subbottom Profiling System onboard R/V Bilim-2. The longitudinal seismic profiles span water depths ranging from approximately 60 meters to 1300 meters. These data were analyzed to identify and characterize submarine landslide features across the continental slope.
