Data and analysis codes for a study on Interannual pCO2 variability accelerates in global coastal oceans under climate warming
收藏资源简介:
The datasets and analysis codes archived here were developed to investigate the study "Interannual pCO2 variability accelerates in global coastal oceans under climate warming". The datasets include observationally constrained pCO2 reconstructions and CMIP6 climate model outputs, enabling a consistent comparison of pCO2 variability between coastal and open-ocean regions across spatial and temporal scales. The accompanying codebase covers all major analysis steps, including data preprocessing, characterization of observed variability patterns, decomposition of pCO2 variability into thermal and non-thermal components, mechanism-oriented diagnostics, and figure generation. Together, these datasets and methods provide a reproducible framework for examining coastal–open-ocean contrasts in pCO2 interannual variability and for supporting future studies on the role of coastal oceans in the evolving global carbon cycle.
