A Selective Synthesis of the 1,3,4-Triphospholide Anion

[Mg2(μ-Cl)3(THF)6][2,5-(CtBu)2-1,3,4-P3] and K[2,5-(CtBu)2-1,3,4-P3] are formed quantitatively from reduction of the tricyclic-triphosphorus compound ClP3(CtBu)2 with Mg or K; the mechanistic insights gained from these studies lead to a new and “economic” synthesis of the [2,5-(CtBu)2-1,3,4-P3]- anion from the phosphalkyne tBuC⋮P.通过将三环三磷化合物ClP3(CtBu)2与Mg或K进行还原反应，定量地制备了[Mg2(μ-Cl)3(THF)6][2,5-(CtBu)2-1,3,4-P3]和K[2,5-(CtBu)2-1,3,4-P3]；从这些研究中获得的机制见解引领了一种新颖且‘经济’的合成方法，即从磷炔tBuC⋮P出发制备[2,5-(CtBu)2-1,3,4-P3]阴离子。
