VPRS 16814 Secretary's Report Books

This series consists of the reports of the Secretary that were presented to the Committee of Management, to whom the position of secretary reported to.The information recorded includes: Revenue received and from whom; reports of daily administrative issues and requirements associated with doctors, nurses, staff, supply services, repairs, new building works and the running of the hospital in general; reports on items from committees such as the House Committee.Entries are handwritten and each report is signed by the Committee president (until end January 1948).Reports for the period 1911 to 1926 are missing.Notes maintained by the Hospital's Secretaries for the period 1908 to 1955 can be found in VPRS 16813 Secretary's Notebook.Prior to transfer to Public Record Office Victoria, the records in this series were maintained as part of the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) Archives. They were part of RCH accession number 2004/005.
