Transcriptomic profiling of neonatal rat ventricular myocytes under LPS stimulation with ESRRG overexpression or knockdown

This study investigates the role of estrogen-related receptor gamma in modulating cardiomyocyte gene expression during inflammatory stress. Neonatal rat ventricular myocytes (NRVMs) were treated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS) to mimic sepsis-induced cardiac dysfunction in vitro. To evaluate the impact of ESRRG on cardiomyocyte phenotype, adenoviral overexpression or siRNA-mediated knockdown of Esrrg was performed under LPS stimulation. Bulk RNA-seq was conducted to characterize transcriptomic changes associated with altered ESRRG activity.
