DCR Parkways

This layer represents Parkways owned and managed by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation & Recreation. The data is designed for the DCR Snow Removal project and catalogs parkways by snow clearing priority. It is also used in maps to indicate DCR management of parkways, especially in the metro Boston area. Note: this is not a comprehensive or accurate representation of all DCR managed parkways. Data in Central and Western Massachusetts is generally incomplete or of lower quality. The data in the metro Boston area is more complete/accurate than data further from Boston. This layer: consumes data published by someone else (see 'Source data' below) and has been configured (filters, symbology, pop-ups etc.) by the DCR State Parks GIS office to represent DCR owned parkways.
