modERN

modERN (model organism Encyclopedia of Regulatory Networks) is an offshoot of the former modENCODE project. The goal of this new consortium is to streamline our efforts to perform ChIP-seq for transcription factors (TFs) in both worm and fly, and to begin to determine the functionality of the identified binding sites in gene regulation. This site organizes and provides all the ChIP-seq data files generated for transcription factors in worm and fly for both modENCODE and modERN projects.modERN（model organism Encyclopedia of Regulatory Networks，模式生物调控网络百科全书）是前代modENCODE项目的衍生分支。该全新合作联盟的核心目标是优化针对蠕虫与果蝇体内转录因子（transcription factors, TFs）的ChIP-seq（染色质免疫共沉淀测序）实验流程，并着手解析所鉴定结合位点在基因调控中的功能。本站点整理并提供了modENCODE与modERN两个项目中，针对蠕虫与果蝇体内转录因子所生成的全部ChIP-seq数据文件。
