MARK16 Datasets

MARK16 is a SNSF PRIMA project on five years (2018-2023) led by Claire Clivaz that develops a new research model in digitized biblical sciences, based on a test case found in the New Testament: the last chapter of the Gospel according to Mark. A virtual research environment has been built with a manuscript room as main part. This DaSCH website presents the 58 set of data manuscripts of the project. Mina Monier (post-doc) and Jonathan Barda (software developer) have strongly contributed to the project. HOW TO USE THE DATA: Search through the list of 1. Manuscripts with their images and metadata, and the list of 2. Persons or Institutions who have collaborated on MARK16. The last two categories, 3. Transcription Data and 4. Facsimile images, are already associated with a manuscript and are not meant to be read directly by users.
