The GMTA data set contains monthly mean analyzed temperature anomalies
for each five degree latitudinal and longitudinal box over the global
for the period from January 1997 to current month. The monthly mean
temperature anomalies are analyzed in the Climate Prediction Division
of the JMA based on temperature anomalies exchanged in the form of WMO
code FM72 CLIMAT via GTS.
