The objective of this work is to elucidate the structural and electronic properties of Pd-based catalysts supported on MIL-53(Cr) and NH2-MIL-53(Cr), designed for the selective hydrogenation of acetylene. At least seven samples will be studied in situ during acetylene hydrogenation reaction. In situ procedure will include reduction of the materials under 100% H2 flow at 200 ℃ during 1 h, after which the reaction starts with 30 min step change of temperature from 50 to 200 C, taking 6 h per sample. The available mixture of 1% C2H2, 10% H2, 20% C2H2 in N2 will be used in the reaction. Data will be collected in fluorescence mode for in situ samples diluted with BN. While other 7 pelletized sample will be measured ex situ in transmission mode adding references for further linear combination fitting.
