Shows the percentages of ISAV recovery after concentration of the virus from artificial and natural seawater using different approaches.

One litre of seawater was spiked with 1.62 x 107 copies of ISAV before the virus was concentrated using a negatively charged (MF-) or a positively charged (MD+) filter. Four different buffers were compared for their elution capacity of the virus absorbed on the filters. Recovery rate (%) of ISAV in spiked artificial and natural seawater was quantified by RT-qPCR and RT-ddPCR. ISAV recovery is presented as mean ± standard deviation from two biological replicates.
