The development of data-driven predictive models requires the availability of datasets with run-to-failure trajectories. To advance the development of these methods, this dataset provides a novel realistic dataset of run-to-failure trajectories for a fleet of small aircraft engines operating under realistic flight conditions. The damage propagation modeling used to generate this synthetic dataset builds upon the modeling strategies from prior work. This dataset was generated using the dynamical model of the Commercial Modular Aero-Propulsion System Simulation (C-MAPSS). It is made available through a collaboration between the Prognostics CoE at NASA Ames, ETH Zurich, and PARC.
