资源简介:
This collection is referred to as “Maner-Garnett House, Webb Wildlife Management Area 1996.” This name is consistent throughout the finding aid, the file folders, and the box labels. The extent of this collection is five (5) linear inches. The documents date from 1978 to 1999. The investigation primarily occurred in July 1996, which explains the date in the project name. The range of dates includes documents related to background research and follow-up correspondence regarding the relocation and potential nomination of the Maner-Garnett House to the National Register of Historic Places. The documents were originally housed in acidic folders in an acidic cardboard box. The documents were lacking a discernible original order. The collection was in good condition, although a few documents required minimal flattening. The collection originally contained four copies of the final report. One of the copies was weeded during the processing of the collection. The collection contained photographic materials in the field records. The materialsincluded photographic negatives and prints. All of the photographic negatives were assigned scanned asset numbers and any corresponding photographic prints were assigned the same scanned asset number. The photographic prints that did not have corresponding negatives were assigned scanned asset numbers. A total of 81 scanned asset numbers were assigned to the photographic materials. Various photographic prints contained handwritten numbers on the back that started with the letter “P”. There is no record in the collection that explains what the numbers mean or that provides information as to when the numbers were originally recorded. In addition to the “P” numbers, original roll and exposure numbers were written on the back of various photographic prints for rolls one and two. The exposure numbers written on the photographic prints were compared to the corresponding exposure numbers in the photographic negatives and it was deduced that the photographic negatives for roll one were present, but not for roll two.
