Clinical outcomes of polidocanol sclerotherapy for sublingual ranula

This dataset includes anonymized clinical data from 34 patients with sublingual ranula treated by intralesional 3% polidocanol foam injection at Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital between December 2021 and March 2025.
It contains demographic and clinical variables such as age, sex, lesion type, maximum diameter, symptom duration, number of injections, and treatment outcomes.
The data were collected for a retrospective study evaluating the efficacy and safety of polidocanol sclerotherapy for sublingual ranula.
All records were de-identified before sharing, and ethical approval was obtained (Approval No. SH9H-2024-T203-2).
