The numbers of DNA samples from faecal deposits from common wombats (Vombatus ursinus), eastern grey kangaroos (Macropus giganteus) and swamp wallabies (Wallabia bicolor) collected from 11 of Melbourne’s water catchment areas from 2009 to 2017 and tested using PCR-based sequencing of the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) of nuclear ribosomal DNA.
